Nalcor Energy believes that effective, ongoing communication with individuals, businesses and communities, go hand in hand with the successful development and operation of the Lower Churchill Project.
Nalcor is committed to optimizing benefiits and communicating with the business community regarding procurement opportunities. This includes following committments made in the Project's Benefits Strategy with the Government of Newfoundland and Labador, as well as the Impacts and Benefits Agreement with Labrador's Innu Nation.
Nalcor, on a competitive basis, will give consideration to provincial suppliers and contractors to participate in the supply of works, goods, and services to the Project. These opportunities will include direct supply relationships with Nalcor as well as the relationships with the Project's main contractors and suppliers.
All contractors, sub-contractors and suppliers, interested in supplying works, goods and services to the Project must complete and return a Vendor/Contractor Registration Questionnairewhich will be reviewed in order to determine whether the contractor, sub-contractor or supplier have the capacity to support the requirements of the Project.
